There is so much in this world, so much in my daily life, that I am thankful & grateful for. I've watched this week as my children have set a space at the table for their great grandparents who have gone before them, sharing their memories and why they are grateful to have them in their lives. I've celebrated Thankgiving Feasts at school programs and received heartfelt notes and messages from friends - the type who make plans to see you just because, the type that snail mail you boxes of clothing, just because. I am grateful for my children, my husband, my family & friends and my wonderful jobs - both of them. But I wanted you to know - yes, you, reading right here - that I am thankful for you. Thankful for those who take the time to read, comment & send me emails from all over the country - and the world (like Tash & Susan). Grateful for those of you who have listed me on your own blogs in the sidebar as "blogs to read" (my cousin & other blog readers) and "blogs I follow" (like Jess on her blog: http://www.keep-it-together-blog.com/).
“Gratefulness is the key to a happy life that we hold in our hands, because if we are not grateful, then no matter how much we have we will not be happy — because we will always want to have something else or something more.” — Brother David Steindl-Rast
Thank you. Thank you for being a part of my life. For letting our worlds collide. Thank you for being here. Thank you for being you.
