Feature Friday - DIY Anna's Jewelry Designs

I am so excited to be kicking off a new little series here on the blog! Do any of my long-time readers recall our "She's Crafty" series last December? Well, this is kind of a spin-off of that. I really enjoyed that series (& you guys all did too) & since then I've wanted to expand my 'pitifully narrow horizons' (anyone? anyone? ;) ) and take us on some new adventures. Adventures full of hand-made, crafty, DIY & some redecorating/remodeling projects thrown in for good measure. In some cases, I may even feature a quick "nap time" project from our readers. If you have something you'd like to contribute, hit me up through the contact page or send me a quick email. To kick off our series, Anna is sharing with us the jewelry pieces she designs on the side. Yes, she is a wife, mom (a home-schooling mom to four at that), a photographer and a jewelry designer. If her work is any indication of what's to come, you guys are in for a treat! So sit back & browse her latest pieces from her jewelry line & start marking your calendars: second Friday of the month!

Anna Roorda, owner and designer of www.texasartgirl.com studied art education at Baylor University.  She is a wife, mom, photographer, and jewelry designer.  All of her jewelry designs created are one of a kind.  No two necklaces are alike.  Anna's unique style is eclectic and often times random, yet balanced.  She pulls from her education background of incorporating the elements and principals of design in each jewelry piece.  She hopes that you will find her pieces a delight to the eye and creative soul.
